At Last Scrobbling Comes to Windows Phone

Finally the people at Spotify have to add probably one of the easiest, yet annoying, features to their Windows Phone version of their music client: Last FM integration.

Whilst this doesn’t bring the app up to the levels of the other platforms it at least gives me one of the major missing features that has had me swaying between paid subscription and free (or no usage).

My Year in Rock Kicks Off Tomorrow – On A Boat

Since I got confirmation of tickets to the Radio Rock Cruise on Wednesday I have barely been able to contain myself.

In what promises to be a good year for gigging it all starts with a headline show from Danko Jones. But it’s not just him/them that I’m looking forward to.

Twitter is a waste of time

So it has been too long between posts here. How many times have I said that? This time though I am free to write what I want again since I have taken a break from the Social Media insights blog at EzyInsights.

I had fun writing there, about a number of topics, but I wonder if why scepticism shone through at times. Don’t get me wrong. I think that ezyinsights is a great tool, provide easy yet actionable insights into your Social Media presence(s). But Social Media itself, especially Twitter, I struggle still to see the point of it some times.

Auto-post Loop hell

So I have been using IFTTT (If This Then That) web site for a while to automate some of my Social Media posting, for example updating my blog here when I post a link on Facebook. After a certain amount of trial and error I think that I had it set up quite nicely however I just moved my site from Posterous to WordPress and there are obviously a few differences.
