2018 was quite a good year for me. A festival, quite a few gigs and a couple of discoveries that will stay with me forever.
It was also a record year for Scrobbling and perhaps no surprise that one of my discoveries tops my play charts by quite a long shot. Below are some of the highlights.

I’ve discovered a few new artists over the past couple of weeks, but I always seem to fall back to the old school in the end.
This is a new video from Tesla. One of my favorite bands and absolutely one of the best gigs I have ever been to back at the Shout It Out Loud festival.
I heard this song quite a while back, but the Local Band just uploaded it to YouTube this week. I really liked the original version, by the Veronicas.
They add their own inimitable style to the song though, and the video is fun. Check it out below.
Around 8 months since seeing Danko Jones perform live on the boat to Tallinn, it was time to see them play one of the most nostalgic venues in Finland: Tavastia.
We bought tickets months in advance for this show, and there was a sizeable audience to see them play. Especially, as Danko pointed out, for a Wednesday night.
