Normalization was a goal of mine after my weight loss efforts. Now I have another new toy to measure my normality and hopefully give me enough incentives to keep the weight off and eventually get a bit fitter too.
My diet ended officially on boxing day last year (2016) since then I have been trying to lead a normal life: no more souping!
I’ve posted some of these images already, but here are some key weight stats for my 2016. As I got a funky set of scales for Christmas I won’t be using the old excel any more, but I thought that I would share my template with you if you want to record your weight too. More details in a coming post this week.
Back 2015 I had set myself some goals for my weight. The first 20 weeks were spent trying to achieve these goals. After a couple of weeks in the UK, and some 5kg later, for the rest of the year I was playing catch up to make the weight again.
I have brought some exercise into my left, though that has subsided somewhat recently. However general well-being as improved, my blood pressure now falls into the “normal” bracket and I am trying to get a decent amount of quality sleep.
Diet is a constant battle. I have now been off the diet officially now for longer than I have been on it this year. Tomorrow’s weigh in will be week 22 post diet – I was dieting for 20 weeks prior. There have been some major weight swings and I have to take care of what I’m actually eating. That said – I expected no less.
So it’s 3,5 months since I officially stopped my diet and I have put on 3kg in that time. I’m not worried though as I have changed my lifestyle quite considerably since my “unsustainable” diet ended.
Soup is still in the menu a bit, but this to me is a bit like the 5 / 2 diet but less extreme. You can find out more why I’m not worried about the weight gain.
Last week marked one full year since I started my diet program – or change of lifestyle. I don’t normally take measurements too seriously midweek, but to mark the anniversary I decided to log the details.
I posted a few week ago about the 5 things I have learnt so far since ending my diet but as I hit the anniversary many things have become more apparent.
My diet ended 6 weeks ago and I have to admit the weight has been yo-yoing.
This is perhaps not a surprise since there have been a number of factors that have affected my day to day life.
