I’d been looking forward to this gig for months. Toto were coming to town with a mix of their old classics and a good dose of their latest album XIV. But things were going to get a bit strange.
What a truly awesome gig this was. I was unsure what to expect having heard nothing of Hand.. Cannot.. Erase.. Steven Wilson’s current album and reason for this tour.
However, it was very easy to get into the music and mixed with some classic PT and tributes to David Bowie this will be a difficult gig to top this year.
So you have probably heard about this already, but I thought I would chime in with a couple of cents worth of comments.
I’ve been using the service for many years, on and off, and there were many great features and it’s quite a loss to the music community IMHO…
By 1989 Alice Cooper had been in the business for over 25 years. And he is still going strong today. Poison brought Alice back into the mainstream with after personal challenges at the start of the 80s.
Welcome to the jungle. What a fantastic track. Probably the start of THE greatest time for music in general, or at least the music that I like. Guns N’ Roses were to spawn hundreds of imitators and still influence rock music today.
So my “find” of last year has been recognized. I’m guessing that their gigs in Finland this year will be even more busy given their publicity.
I wonder if they are happy with it all?

Back in the days of No Limits on BBC2 (from 1985-1987) Mötley Crüe featured quite a bit.
